Referring to your Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}/SB.{Mr Bull/Mr Bannister}31/HR.16.4.34., we have examined the plugs you have sent to us and same appear to be electrically OK. but we notice that the gaps are exceptionally large and we think this is the cause of the trouble due to the fact that the leakage distance inside these plugs is extremely small. In order to prove the point we are carrying out tests as quickly as possible on an Experimental Bentley Chassis, and will let you know our recommendations later.
