LIGHTENED TYPE FRONT AXLE FOR PHANTOM. 18420

We have now completed 50 hrs. on the bumping test with the lightened type front axle. The axle is the one which we took to WW. and is machined to the original drawings. The fact that the axle has stood up for 50 hrs. without signs of fracture proves that it is quite safe for the road.

During the 50 hrs. test we have broken several springs, rear bracket for front springs, and frame cross members.

We are continuing the test for 100 hrs.
