Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}'s memo referring to the above, our tests confirm that an engine feels softer picking up with less friction on the slipper wheels. 1.EX Car has been running from the very first with only half the number of springs on the slipper wheel. We suggest that it is not necessary to obtain a Standardisation Sheet for this as it is really only an alteration in adjustment. Do you agree ? EH.
