With reference to their letter of August 31st, forwarding us blue prints for their 40/50 h.p. car, there were various points raised as follows:- Rear Springs to Drawing F.9817. Messrs.Rolls-Royce will supply the centre Bolt, which will be forwarded to Messrs.Firth to fit. Front Spring to Drawing F.4625. The detail of the top leaf to be adhered to, that is to say, the camber of the top plate when separate and unloaded not to exceed 1". One end of the top leaf may have rolled eye, which must be central. The ends of the smaller leaves to be of the same shape as used for the "Goshawk". Nibs and slots are to be fitted. These are to be in the most suitable position, and in any case to be in the maximum section of the Steel.
