Dear Sirs,

We shall be sending to you by passenger train on Monday next, 11th Sept. the 2 - 700 lbs. Experimental Springs to your order No. 10654, dated 16th August. These 2 springs have come out well under our load test, only being a matter of 5 or 6 lbs. light, and we shall be glad to hear the result of your Bumping Test.

We have received the 8 springs with the broken top leaves which you forwarded to us on Wednesday last, 6th Sept. and we are endeavouring to return these, fitted with new silico manganese top leaves, together with the others on Monday, but we may not be able to despatch them until Tuesday.
