PHANTOM III SYNCHRO-MESH CONES

Reference RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}/Cy3/IS31.3.37

The six gear boxes referred to in the
above memo have proved very satisfactory on test.
In four cases the synchro-mesh worked perfectly, and
the remaining two were satisfactory after a small
amount of use.

In our opinion they are much more satisfactory
than the lapped cone.
