W.A. Robotham Esq.
Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.
DERBY.

Dear Robotham,

Thank you for your letter of the 14th instant.

Regarding the sample bumper, we have been rather unlucky with this, some of the parts of which will have to be made all over again, and under the difficulties of existing circumstances will take 10 to 14 days to finish; but I will keep behind it personally, and try to improve upon this.

As regards the hydraulic torque converter, since I spoke to you there has been an improvement in design of rather a comprehensive nature, which should be included in any sample that you test, and although there are a few samples of the original design nearing completion, I should prefer, if it is convenient to you, to wait a little longer and let you have a sample of the latest type.

If you would like to talk about body hardware, I would come along any time, if you could give me a day or two's notice, and if you would like me to do so I would bring my son, who would be able to show you something of the latest designs of the hydraulic torque converter.

With kind regards,

Yours sincerely,

C.L.Breeden ss.{S. Smith}
