To BJ. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} +8830 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LG20.8.24. E.A.C.11. +8380 +8830 All EAC.11. chassis will be made with the frame as shewn on the WW. drawing. The alterations on that Frame are very desirable - (1) The alteration to the sweep-up makes it more convenient for fitting bodies. (2) The alteration to the length at the back makes it more convenient for fitting luggage grids. The bodies you are ordering should be made to the new Frame. Our suggestion is that we should supply a wooden template shewing the form of Frame for the coach-builders to work to. They may, of course, prefer to make their own templates. As both of these alterations are desirable, even for the 40/50 std. car, there is no reason why coachbuilders should know that it is for a new model. The Coachbuilding Dept. should also make a note that the width of the frame has been increased over the standard 40/50 HP. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
