Dear Sirs, Confirming our telephone conversation with Mr. Shinkins this morning, the writer proposes to visit you tomorrow, arriving at about 9.30, and will bring with him our Chargehand over Clutch erection. The proposal is that the latter should co-operate with your Inspector in passing a number of clutches. These should then be marked, forwarded to Derby in the usual manner, and in turn inspected and erected here in your Inspector's presence. By this means we should be able to settle definitely where the discrepancy, if any, occurs between the two inspections. Yours faithfully, for Rolls-Royce Ltd. | ||
