Steering tests on car 12-G-4, investigating wobble and shimmy issues with different wheels and tyres.

Whilst the steering is definitely better with these larger wheels and tyres, it is not free from a slight tendency to wobble. We have tried a standard car with these tyres at 23 lbs/sq. in. pressure. The steering shewed no signs of 'shimmy'. We are carrying out tests to determine why 12-G-4 steering differs from that of the standard car when equipped with similar wheels.
