SUBJECT

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of 5th. inst. and, in connection with your second paragraph regarding the temperature of the Coil, we had a very similar idea ourselves when these were first put into production, but as they have now been in production for just on two years and we do not seem to get any trouble we assume they are perfectly safe.

However, we have received a separate communication from your Buying Department stating that you have now decided not to carry on with these Coils and are going to use your own.

With regard to the three Distributors you are sending under separate cover, for a complete overhaul, and for the automatic advance to be altered, immediately these arrive we will put the work in hand and return them to you in accordance with the curve stated in your letter.

We also note that you do not want gears fitted to these, as you have a spring drive arrangement to drive these Distributors.

With regard to the synchronising tool, we enclose a leaflet on the synchronising tool which we use in service, and are wondering whether this would be useful to you or whether you are requiring something entirely special.

Yours faithfully,

B.Rushton

B. RUSHTON,
TECHNICAL MANAGER.
