X3798 T.A.B. LUBRICATION SYSTEM.

With reference to the Grease gun and lubricators which you obtained for us from T.B. Andre & Co.Ltd., We have tested these and find that they are not as efficient as the Alemite system made in U.S.A. The chief complaint we have with the T.A.B. system is that it is only possible to obtain a pressure of 140 lbs. per sq.ins. on the grease with their grease gun compared with 500 lbs. per sq.ins. with the Alemite grease gun. This is due to the fact of the different proportions in the grease. gun. The T.A.B. grease gun is also too large in diameter to grip conveniently also it is too smooth to grip.

The lubricators should have dust caps fitted to them.

We have also found that a certain amount of grease leaks from the connection when the grease gun is connected, to the lubricator.
