SOCIETY OF AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERS INC. 29 WEST 39TH STREET NEW YORK December 8, 1922 Mr. E.W. Hines, Rolls-Royce, Ltd., Derby, England. Dear Mr. Hines:- We have your letter of the 24th ultimo and cannot understand why you experience trouble in receiving copies of the S.A.E. JOURNALS as they come off the press. They are mailed by the same publisher who mails the Automotive Industries and they go out from the same post office. For your information we might state that there was some delay in publishing the November issue of the JOURNAL owing to the fact that we wished to include in it papers which were presented before our recent Production Meeting. However, the JOURNAL should have reached you by November 24th. In order that you may not be inconvenienced we are sending a duplicate copy to you under separate cover today. The December JOURNAL is just being mailed and we trust your copy will reach you in due course. Very truly yours, SOCIETY OF AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERS, Inc.
