W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham, Esq.
Rolls-Royce, Ltd
Derby

Dear Mr Robotham.

You may remember our meeting at the last motor Show at Olympia when you took over from me a silencer design which you were going to try out. I am writing now to enquire how things are progressing, and I should be very much obliged if you could let me know. Believe me I have no desire to appear impatient, and I am writing only because the Provisional Patent I took out for the design expires at the end of this month (Feby)

Yours faithfully
D.L. Ellis.
