We send you herewith Lec.3106.

We have prepared this design to overcome two faults :-

Firstly we have substituted a Woodruff key for the taper pin in the operating mechanism which sheared in France on 19-EX.

Secondly the small lvers on the ccoss shaft are very expensive to preoduce, we are told by the works, owing to the small end being hardened.

The new deisng shown the levers soft and having pins rivetted in.

Will you please instruct this is parmllel to Experimental dn Works.
