"A" COPY. X4601 To Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} from Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} To EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} Hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}2/W30.10.23. Chassis No. 12-EM - 10,000 miles test run. After completing the body etc., the car was taken out for a final test and the following points were noted :- Poor slow speed running. (Cured by wiping extra air/valve. Probably fine sawdust got in at Coachbuilders). Bonnet a poor fit - sides buckle. Paint on radiator tubes blocking the air ways to some extent. Bevelled edge of petrol gauge makes reading difficult. For instance standing in one position 2 galls. reads 2 1/2. Car otherwise very good. Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} | ||
