X3014 b. Lucas E.575 Dynamo Silence.

The remarks in yours EFC5/T20.10.20 were duly communicated to the Lucas Electrical Co.Ltd. and we are this morning in receipt of a reply from said firm, dated 2nd inst. as follows:-

"Regarding your suggestion that the output of our "Dynamotor-No.E.575 should be reduced in order to cope "more easily with the noise question, we wish to inform "you that we have carried out some tests, the results "of which do not comply with the requirements specified "in your letter, and under the circumstances we are "continuing to supply Machines to you at the normal "output.

"We find that the provision of a cast iron end "frame makes considerable difference to the noise and "we should like to know that your experience confirms "our opinion."

WA.{Mr Wallis}H.
