-2- 6. Riveted louvred bonnet with sheathed side hinges as design on N.Sch.3294. and having some dashboard overlap as instructed for 'T' series. Many details now in hand for 18.G.IV may be used for this instruction. The louvres should be those of the standard design E.55391/2 as the coachbuilders are making scuttle ventilating louvres to suit these. Gearbox &c. 7. Synchro Mesh Gearbox. Two boxes are being completed to the original instructions i.e. they will not contain the modifications shown on N.Sch.3331. One box will be fitted to 18.G.IV and the other to 20.G.IV. 8. Propeller Shaft 3.000 dia. length to suit the gearbox allocated in item 7. 9. "E" type side levers with the brake lever set over 17.750 from centre of Chassis, as shown on N.Sch. 3325. Frames & Fittings. 10. "F" type steering and pedals to be fitted. 11. Sheet metal crossmember to suit 3.000 dia. propeller shaft to N.Sch.3278. 12. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Instructs we fit the Battery Box Rear Suspension to N.Sch.3333 to this chassis, as it is 'R's particular design. The tubular crossmember to N.Sch.3334 could be fitted to another chassis. 13. Petrol Tank extended to the rear crossmember as shown on N.Sch.3324 having dashboard controls to the reserve in the main tank, and including the revised Hobson Gauge fitting shown on N.Sch.3340. 14.
