Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} - from Sft.{Mr Swift} c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X7005 Sft.{Mr Swift}7/B.8.12.31. re: L.H. and R.H. 40/50 HP Chassis. Diamond Mounting. -------------------------- We have fitted the first of the new parts to 286-AJS (Wessel) a left-hand chassis and this has overcome the difficulty experienced with the diamond mounting. We have also fitted two other sets, making three cars in all completely fitted with this new design. We are unable to do any more until we receive a further supply of brackets from Hughes-Johnson - these are expected in this afternoon. We are hoping there will be a sufficient supply to complete this year's output, in which case there will be no difficulty in fitting these parts on all this year's cars. The O.O. are doing all possible to get us the requisite number of brackets. Sft.{Mr Swift} [signature] | ||
