-2- (5) It would help us if you could supply us with a top cover, No. M.20718, 1.000 longer than shown on your drawing, and also let us know to what dia. you are going to turn the outside of this piece. (6) We shall require not less than 18" of steering tube projecting from the box. We assume that you are making the horizontal distance between axis of column and upper end of pendulum lever 6.100 as you mentioned on Friday and also that one of the rockershaft splines will be on the vertical centre line as seen on the arrangement drawing. The writer hopes that the above covers all the points in question and that it will enable you to proceed with the manufacture of the gear.
