6116. To Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst.5/AP.6.5.37 NEW TYPE LUCAS HEAD LAMPS. Replying to your Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}3/KW.5.5.37., in our opinion the driving light on these lamps is rather better than the present P.100.R. and equally as good as the Marchal. With reference to the last paragraph of your memo, we regret that as these lamps are at a premium at present it is not possible for you to have a pair on a trials car in London.
