(11) Bonnet clips. The ends of the wings are too sharp and awkward to handle, chiefly due to clearance between the bonnet and the front wing being insufficient.

(12) Exhaust cut-out. There is a tendency of the valve to rattle on its seat. Suggest more free pedal movement required; the present movement is easily taken up - frame distortion, etc.

(13) Engine "whistle", as previously complained of, still exists, although we consider this improved and not so pronounced.

(14) Oil leaks from the engine are bad. The main cause is from the rocker cover joint. The best has been made of this joint but the leaks are not cured. After a good run the engine becomes messy with oil.

(15) Radiator jellies and the front rides hard. This is distinctly noticeable with saloon or fixed head bodies.

(16) Oil pressure easily fails on braking, although it soon revives when the engine is "revved up". Considerable trouble has also been experienced with falling oil pressure for slow speeds; rectified by cleaning oil pressure release valve.

(17) Tyres (India). Fairly quiet, but complained of easily skidding on wet surface roads.
