To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}18/ET.21.8.41. HEAT IN REAR SEAT - B.V. 1021. Here is a copy of a report by Whyman on the complaint regarding the heat in the rear seat of the Bentley V.{VIENNA} On experimental cars, exhaust systems are almost always "tailored" to the particular chassis, because this component is usually the last one to reach finality. I do not think we shall have any difficulty in avoiding this trouble in production, by making exhaust pipes to templates and providing a heat shield. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Encl.
