Re Reduction of chassis weight. TBB6/LS712. With reference to Mr Bagnall's suggestion for the items which should be considered with a view to reducing their weight, Mr Royce agrees to all the ~~parts~~ [handwritten] following mentioned, i.e. Pistons. Connecting Rods. Magneto and Governor bearings ~~contact~~. Gear Box Blanks. Engine Bearing caps. Clutch anchorage channel irons. "any small levers (stampings)" He remarks however with regard to the suggestion that the front axle could be lightened 'steady. See 1649 reported bent." [Signature] T.B.
