We note on arrangement drawing G.73748., that taper bolts are shewn for securing the flywheel, to the crankshaft flange. We do not require taper bolts in this position as we think they are entirely unnecessary, and from the point of view of assembling the clutch, sometime ago WS. and HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} wrote reports on this matter which led us to believe that the taper bolts were the cause of the clutch operating sleeve spigot becoming out of truth and requiring grinding with the fly-wheel bolted into position on the Crankshaft, which practice we strongly depreciate.
