X.7560 LOW TENSION WIRING CABLE FOR CHASSIS.
Referring to Roy{Sir Henry Royce}/Ms15/P31.3.30 we now under stand that the difference between "Association" cable and "not Association" as supplied by Messrs. Glovers, is that the former is the thoroughly tested cable and the latter is not.
We, however, on our part cannot agree to accept cable which would not undergo a rigid test. If Glovers omitted such a test we would have to fit one in, and therefore the cost of testing would not be cut out, it would merely be shifted from one department to another.
Further we are satisfied that the Cable Makers are more expert at testing than we are, and we would therefore prefer things to remain as they are.
