1021 5th February, 1941. Em/EAG.1/RH.{R. Hollingworth} Perfecta Motor Equipment, Excelsior Works, Oxford Street, BIRMINGHAM.5. Attention of Mr. Bach. Dear Sirs, As arranged over the telephone yesterday afternoon, we are sending herewith a blue print number RB.{R. Bowen}20016 of windscreen regulator. It is understood that you would be able to provide a fitting for a sample body which we are building, similar to one of the samples which you sent us some time ago, the difference being that it has been reduced in depth. We have shown in dotted line the outline of the polished capping. We shall be glad to have a sketch showing a fitting that you would consider suitable for our purpose. We shall be using a Lucas windscreen wiper and it will be necessary for the connecting link to work underneath the screen regulator in a slot as shown on our sketch. We shall be glad to have your suggestions as soon as possible as we wish to make provision in the body for the accommodation of the regulator. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED, | ||
