RE CALCOTT SPEEDOMETER PARTS.
On the 17th ultimo. we despatched a small parcel containing two worn out pieces of the Stewart Speedometer (Magnetic type) belonging to Mr. Royce's Calcott car to Mr. Hives by letter post. Mr. Hives now informs us that he has never received this parcel. Would you be good enough to circulate an enquiry in your receiving department at the Works, with a view to finding out if it is hung up anywhere.
* We have asked Mr. Hives to get you to take the matter up with the Postal Authorities, if the parcel cannot be found.
E. {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
* This memo will be forwarded by next post
