having a high-compression head fitted, and after consulting with Mr. Robotham I have decided to have this. No doubt he will have spoken to you about it by the time you have received this note.

I am afraid I am not giving you much time, but I hope you will do your best to get it done for me by then. Apart from the question of the pinking, the other matters are fairly trifling.
