Hanbury - Head Complaints} 17. 7. 24. ---------- Incidentally, it means that having now conceived an intelligent reason for the difference between the Quickstep and the High Silicon Valve, my nervousness in regard to the use of Firths' type of this steel has practically disappeared, as the value of the steel is in its high recalescence point, and not so much in the heat-treatment, although we have proved that the heat-treatment can make or mar the running of the valve within certain limits.
