Findings and modifications on vehicle components.

23) The top triangular lever inside spring box is being strengthened up. D/O will shortly issue the new design.

FRONT SUSPENSION.

24) It was found that theperfect oil seals were fitted the wrong way round. Correct fitting of seals and high pressure of oil being deleted, will cure this trouble.

25) A correct Bijur Z 5 was fitted and lubricated the steering joints satisfactorily.

26) The lubrication scheme has been altered, bringing the high pressure oil direct to the steering pivot and steering arms.

27) Increased clearances has been allowed between the diameter of springs and spring pots.

STEERING.

28) This was caused by a faulty design. A more fool proof design is necessary.

GEARBOX.

29) Oil leak cured.

30) Modifications made was satisfactory.

31) The two 2nd motion shaft bushes were well oiled with the modifications made.

CLUTCH.

32) Slipping of Clutch through oil getting on to fabrics 100% cured by scheme to rear Engine Bearing. A hand oiling scheme to lubricate the Clutch spiggot was satisfactory. A N° I Bijur was fitted to the trunion ball race deleting a N° O Bijur.

REAR DAMPERS.

33) New design of connecting link has been completed.

REAR TORSION ROD.

34) Trying out rubber bearing for rear Torsion Rod.

REAR ROAD SPRINGS.

36) New oiling to be tried.
