THE FOLLOWING ITEMS HAVE BEEN MODIFIED OR ARE HAVING ATTENTION.

ENGINE.

1) Removal of Filter from under Bonnet, and pipe line on outside of frame from Filter to Pump was 95% cure.

2) Opening the float chamber to atmosphere, cured starting troubles with a hot Engine.

3) Petrol Pump failure was a manufacturing fault, suction valve seating was faulty.

4) Oil Radiator. To be dipped soldered. (Not as yet tested).

5) Design of Valve altered. Larger diameter stems and seating stelited.

6) A 15% more effecient Radiator is to be tested. The Radiator in question has had to be sent to the makers, as it was not satisfactory. An improved Fan is also waiting for test.

7) A larger Damper has been designed.

8) The air pressure delivered by the Flywheel to the rear bearing, to prevent oil from passing through, was a 100% cure during the 10,000 miles. It is to be incorporated on the next test.

9) Rocker, Push Rods have been increased in diameter.

10) Improved oiling pad fitted to the cam to prevent excessive wear of the rubbing block. Wiring tubes to have larger elongated holes to prevent scrubbing of wires. Distributor to have D/O attention.

11) Failure of Bearings. An increased supply of oil by an annulus in the bearing supplying the plate connecting rod. A larger oil Pump to be fitted. White metal bearings in place of lead bronze in connecting rods.

12) Quiet Tappets. Oil feed by direct holes instead of taper needle.

13) This scheme is to be deleted with thermostatic controlled Radiator shutters.

14) New design of locks for Bonnet.

15) Larger area of rubber designed and to be fitted.

FRONT DAMPERS.
