Dear Sirs, Your reference:- HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/HEW3/AD. We thank you for your letter of the 6th instant and in reply to the second paragraph we would say that the type HF.{H. W. Frost - Coachwork Inspector}43. horn recently returned to you is now representative of our up-to-date practice for the HF.{H. W. Frost - Coachwork Inspector}43. pattern. With regard to the other samples referred to in your letter, we are to let you have an Alto Model with a grille front, and one of our smaller Altette Horns. We have been in touch with your Mr R.{Sir Henry Royce} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Davis concerning these, and with regard to the Alto, this is being sent off to you today. We are afraid our latest Altette pattern horn, embodying one or two detail alterations and improvements, is not immediately available, but we will of course arrange to let you have a sample of the latest design as quickly as ever possible, together with a sample of our new type Windscreen Wiper. We would like you to know that this matter has our most careful attention, and the latest samples referred to will be sent along to you at the earliest possible moment. Yours faithfully, JOSEPH LUCAS LIMITED ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT S. Mann-Ford | ||
