I have had a conversation by 'phone with Col.Matthew of the Dunlop Co. regarding our requirements of wire wheels with wellbase rims and special tyres for the equipment of test cars, both 40/50 and 20 HP. He informed me that their proposal was to supply one set of wheels and tyres for each of the two cars free. You have asked for:- 14 Detachable Wire Wheels & Tyres for 40/50 HP.Chassis 18 Spare Covers and Tubes 12 Detachable Wire Wheels & Tyres for 20 HP.Chassis The Dunlop Co. are prepared to supply the whole of these wheels and tyres at half-price, thus dividing the cost with us 50-50%. Will you please let me have your instructions? The Dunlop Co. pointed out that the tyre on a wellbase rim which Col.Matthew left here about a fortnight ago is an oversize tyre, being 6" wide in cross section.
