The GROSVENOR Limousine - - - £595 (7 SEATER) This Limousine on the long 25 h.p. Chassis ranks in its comfort and luxurious appointments with the most exclusive coachbuilt cars. The front and rear compartments are separated by a glass division, which can be lowered when necessary. There are arm-rests on either side of both front and rear seats, and the angle of the back of the rear seat can be adjusted to suit the passengers. The two comfortable occasional seats fold flat against the division when not in use. The rear compartment is upholstered in fine cloth or leather, and the front in leather. In the front compartment is a roof light, and there are corner lamps in the rear compartment. These lamps and a step light above the running board also light up when either of the rear doors is opened. Other refinements include a built-in car heater and defroster, twin windtone horns, telephone to driver, roof ventilating hatch, sun vizor, vanity set, head pillows, and a folding foot-rest. Above the windows, all of which can be lowered, are glass louvres. The rear floor is covered by a rubber mat, on top of which is a carpet and a wool foot mat. Triplex safety glass is fitted all round. The lid{A. J. Lidsey} of the spacious luggage boot can be arranged to form a platform for extra luggage. The spare wheel is in a separate compartment below. Several colour schemes are available: Black, Maroon, Ivory, Desert Sand, Brown, Beige, three shades of Blue, three shades of Green and two shades of Grey, with either leather or cloth upholstery to tone. Externally it is identical with the Limousine. The interior, however, has been designed for the owner driver as a full saloon, and has no division between the front and rear seats. (See the illustration opposite.) The rear and occasional seats are similar to those of the Limousine, but the front seats are of the "Body Conformity" type, which are separate and adjustable. Except that there is no telephone or roof ventilator, the detail finish and equipment are similar to those of the Limousine, with two additions : a sliding roof is fitted, and in the backs of the front seats small folding tables are provided. The colour schemes available are identical with those of the Limousine. Price £595. (7) Handwritten notes: 100 Nickel 15/hr front 42 1/8" 30/2 6" a front // | ||
