MYTH.
Front and Rear Bumpers.
We attach to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH's copy
the originals of :-
FL.988. Modification to Rear Bumper Brackets.
FL.989. Modification to Front BumperBrackets.
A short while ago designs
of the front and rear bumpers, FL.908 and FL.897
respectively, were submitted to Messrs. Wilmot Breedon
in order that they could produce 2 off each. They
criticised the bumper fixing to the frame brackets and
suggested it should be clamped.
The above scheme shows a
method of clamping the bumpers to the frame brackets
without increasing the weight or making the attachment
look unsightly.
