cause a breakdown under ordinary running conditions. The coil functioned satisfactorily for 4 hrs under normal running conditions, sparking regularly at 6.5 mm gaps. (running current 1.02 amperes) BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /RD wishes us to fit this coil to an experimental car to try if possible to reproduce that failure. If the coil works satisfactorily it would be interesting to have a copy of "N" Dept's report re electrical equipment.
