On examination we have found that the pinion driving the generator on Goshawk II. engine shows signs of excessive wear due to cross-bedding. We feel that there will always be considerable difficulty in ensuring that the dynamo is lined up accurately. There are a large number of parts which can affect it. We strongly recommend that the cradle for the generator should be a loose piece so that the generator can be set in position and then dowelled. HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
