COPY. X. 3573. Oy11 - G24521. May 24, 1921. Mr. Claude Johnson, Managing Director, Rolls-Royce Ltd., London, England. Attention. Mr. F.H. Royce & Works Committee. Dear Sir, Re Moulded Insulation. In reply to Mr. Royce's letter R8/G1.4.21 re Condensite, I am replying to this in my long letter of today. I wish to bring to Mr. Royce's attention particularly, however, that our coil cases are Bakelite - not Condensite as we informed Mr. Hives in error. The rich semi-transparent red brown of these cases is typical of Bakelite rather than any of the other compounds. Yours truly, ROLLS ROYCE OF AMERICA, Inc. Per (Sgd.) M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} Olley.
