Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 4th inst.

Regarding the English made Hyco, we feel that if it is not going to be any improvement over the American product from the point of view of strength and density, there is no point in proceeding with it, as we know that the latter fails in service.

We have sent to you to-day the compound cushion plate and a standard 13 1/2" plate, both of which we should like relining with "No.6" material.

An official order follows.
