Messrs. Lodge,(Sparking Plug Co.)
R U G B Y.

Dear Sirs,

We are not satisfied with the C.56 type sparking plugs. We have had a number of cases of these plugs sooting up. We have also had quite a large percentage in which the steatite insulator becomes loose when the plug is hot.

Our impression to date is that these plugs do not suit us as well as the Z.22 (I believe this was the number - with the sleeve type insulator).

We are returning to you a number of the C.56 plugs which have failed.

Yours faithfully,
