HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Y3929 To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} from Eg. Copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} H.G. I had the opportunity on Saturday last of trying the Lincoln car a distance of about 150 miles. I am not going to say anything about the chassis because I expect you know all about it but I just wanted to mention that I thought the engine was extraordinarily good. I appreciate that you doubtless think the same but, when I got back on to my P.II yesterday, it was rather like going back on to a 4-cylinder after having been driving a 6-cylinder and made one realise that the sooner we have a 12-cylinder engine for our big car the better. The starting from cold was extraordinarily good for a large engine, much easier than our P.II. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
