Dear Sirs, Further to your esteemed enquiry of the 25th. and 26th. ultimo, we beg to advise you we are sending away to you to-day two sample piston ring pot castings, No. E,9098, which we have made from the rough casting you supplies us. Upon receipt, we shall be very much obliged if you will kindly have the same machined and let us know if the metal is suitable for your requirements. Upon receipt of your reply, we shall be pleased to give you a quotation, but regret we cannot quote for 300 castings per week.
