To R.{Sir Henry Royce} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to CJ. Rg.{Mr Rowledge} c. to Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} ORIGINAL Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}5/LG12.12.23. 'HALO' BRAKE MATERIAL. M4888 We have been running some of this material for some time on a 20 HP. car. Under ordinary brake conditions we can feel the effect of the increase of co-efficient of friction over Ferodo. Also it appears to prevent squeaking. We have run an endurance test with this material and have not found any appreciable wear. We are continuing our tests. We enclose a sample for your examination. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
