261. S/W To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re Sir C.Bruce-Gardner. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}15/E13.4.38 Copy to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} B-117-BL. Referring to your note to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}, I have to-day seen the customer and, in view of all the circumstances, quoted him a special price of £65 for doing this job, i.e. converting his engine into a 4¼. Will you please have the material collected together and let me know after Easter when you will be ready to deal with the job and what Department will be handling it so that I may arrange for the car to be sent up. I have told him that he will not get a new engine but that of course it will have a different engine number and that he will have to see to his insurance, license, etc. Sg.{Arthur F.
