GENERATOR & DISTRIBUTION

30 HP Dynamo.
1. Increased output with same heating.
2. Two special armatures.
3. Various special pole pieces.
4. B.L.I.C. electrolytic regulator,
adapted to dynamo.

Brush & Commutator System.
1. E.G.2. Morganite brushes as second string.
2. RAC. type brush gear.

40/50 Dynamo.
1. Improvement of performance (same heating),
to more than specified output.
2. Special pole pieces.
3. Thinner plate armature.

40/50 Brush & Comm. System.
1. Modified brush gear to take narrower
(circumferentially) brushes.
2. Brush grades other than standard.

Distribution Board & Cutout.
1. Various arrangements of cutout contact
supports to improve life.
2. Reynold contact points. (Standard -
Johnson-Matthey).

External (shunt) Dynamo Regulators.
1. Midgley and Liberty.
2. Scintilla, Westinghouse and Bijur, for
further investigation.
3. R.R. - awaiting West WitteringHenry Royce's home town.

STARTER MOTOR.
