X7810 To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re P.II Road Wheels. Copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}BY. E De.De/Pl.Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}5/E27.9.32 Thanks for Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/MJ.23.9.32. We should like to have the 19" wheels on all P.II cars. On the Continental cars we should like to have the 12/41 axle ratio so long as it is clear that this combination would not give us any worse results from the point of view of performance than those achieved on 19-EX when tested at Brooklands as per Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/MJ.23.7.32 with 21" wheels and 11/41 gear ratio.
