(16) Salt should investigate the report that Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}'s car has several times been difficult to start when the engine is hot. It may be that the petrol level is a little high or that the carburetter is flooding, as once it occurred on a hill. We recommend that we should swap this carburetter for one which we know to be correct and which has been tested on 16-G-IV and then we can investigate what has happened to the one which was on Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}'s car. ✓
(17) Leslie will urge a set of low rating springs of reasonable stress for 21-G-IV. This is vitally important, as this car should go to France in 10 days' time. Hives
(18) Steadman should investigate the fan boom which Hancock reports on the big bore Bentley. Flexible fan blades could with advantage be developed for this. See Paravicini
(19) Dodd should follow up the oil consumption job, and keep in communication with Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} until he gets hold of the next customer's car giving trouble. He should next try nothing but the scraper rings. ✓
(20) Leslie will prepare a roll rod for Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}'s car. Front beam scrapped
(21) Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} will write GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} to ensure that he has had no transmission rattles with the propellor shaft damper deleted. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}
(22) Ll. Smith will carry out endurance tests on the Borg & Beck clutch on Porlock. ✓
(23) Ll. Smith will carry out an endurance run on B-1a to test the valve gear, the test to be run at 100°C. O.K
(24) Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} will find out the saving in cost, if any, with the Hardy Spicer propellor shaft fitted on the 10,000 miles car. See Roy{Sir Henry Royce}
(25) Steadman will follow up the Mark VI radiator matrix with a special header tank, and get it fitted to one of the SpectreCodename for Phantom III cars and test for water losses. Fitted to R-B car To H Hall Control
