P.III SUSPENSION SPRINGS

BY17/J.12.3.36 - It is noted that the inner springs for the P.III should be drawn from E.S.C despite the fact that, under present manufacturing arrangements, their inner springs cost approximately £1. 0. 0d more per chassis than Salter's.

In due course E.S.C will have additional Plant which should enable them to produce the inner springs on a more economical basis.

Possibly Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} was unaware of this when he agreed that both Springs should come from the E.S.C.
