Messrs. Peto & Radford Ltd.
Dagenham Dock,
Romford,
Essex.

For the attention of Mr.Preston.

Dear Sirs,

On the occasion of Mr.Preston's recent visit to our Works we showed him two 40/50 Universal type R.R. 6-volt units on an experimental chassis, which had loose terminal lugs.

We removed these batteries from the chassis and found that the trouble was due to the gland nuts being loose. Upon tightening up these nuts the trouble disappeared.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
